Q) How often should I visit for a checkup?
The general recommendation for those with good oral health is that they should schedule an appointment every six months. If you’re diagnosed with a problem like periodontal disease (gum disease), we may recommend dental checkups more often – around every three or four months. Dr. Chee can give you a personalized recommendation at your next appointment.
Q) How do I prevent cavities and gum disease?
Visiting our Houston dental office will make a big difference in the health of your smile, but you can take steps at home to prevent common problems like tooth decay and periodontal disease. By brushing your teeth at least twice a day and flossing once, you can help us keep your mouth disease- and decay-free.
Q) My teeth are crooked – what are my options?
At the office of Anne Chee, DDS, your options include porcelain veneers for mildly crooked teeth and Invisalign for orthodontic treatment. Dental veneers can be used to cover imperfections and give the appearance of a straight, full smile. However, if you want to actually change the shape of your smile for good and work toward a better bite, we offer clear Invisalign braces, which are a popular choice for adults who don’t want the look of metal orthodontics.
Q) If I’m missing one or more teeth, what can I do about it?
We offer several options at Anne Chee, DDS. Dentures, partial dentures, fixed bridges and dental implants are all available, allowing you to pick the method that best fits your oral health, lifestyle and budget. Explore the information about these options here on our site, and then give us a call to learn more!
Q) How do I know what I’ll look like after my procedure?
We use SNAP® imaging software to simulate what your finished smile will look like after your makeover.
